This is a nice big one, another pinky rose, a single rambler, and that same loose and sunny feeling. It's hard to capture the wind and the fragrance in the painting, but I feel that sometimes it's best done with a loose and spontaneous watercolor. It's the original which is for sale, there are prints available, but this is not one of them. It's sold unframed and is done on heavy 300 lb all rag watercolor paper.  I had hoped to have some yellow roses and maybe some bicolors also posted with this show, but alas, circumstances intervened...

This is one of my moody dark florals; the original is not for sale, but I am producing giclee prints (see explanation) in a limited edition of 1000. The number we're on is three, and the print is produced on fine quality paper which is similar in feel and quality to a lightweight watercolor paper; and with the matte finish of the surface, this makes the print look very much more like an original that a atraditional lithograph.
