| Main Menu Making the Most of Painting from Photos Thank you for your support of the arts! These pages are explanations of the way I approached each example of painting from my photographs. All but three of the paintings you will see are watercolors, and the tips I give on each page include ways to compensate for the limitations of a camera, and ways to improve a painting (done from photos) in color palette or composition. I hope you will enjoy working both from photographs and from life in your artistic quest, and I hope you will let me know if you would like to receive any other art instruction feedback or help. Make time for your art, and may you be blessed as you do so. Yours truly, Susan D. Kennedy |
