Wow, I've been submerged in the world of oils and teaching oil painting here in Cumming ( Georgia ) and hadn't done any watercolor for months and months. You artists know what I'm talking about; I didn't feel like myself...and the crispness and freshness of watercolor when I finally painted last week was invigorating. Art seems to be a salve for the soul these last few years, but it's increasingly hard to make time for such things. It's a blessing to teach and share a love of painting, but it's not the same.
