This is one that I'm just now starting on, a delightful landscape that an old customer has commissioned. Maybe I do love oils after all! What a dreamy scene, she actually sent me photos of some of her favorite haunts and let me compose what I thought was the best painting. How lucky could I get? This is just the blocking-in stage, I'll try to post a picture of this when it's done.

Also, there's this commission which is ALMOST done, it's been long and hard, and it's a biggie (30" x 40")I think after a bit more in the upper areas, I'll sign it and declare it done. Whew!

I went to talk with a local gallery which is starting an art academy and hope to teach watercolor there this spring.  Check back later or check my website if you're interested in watercolor classes at beginning and intermediate levels. It looks like the city will be Cumming and they will take place late morning....wa-hoooo!!!
