This little painting is an acrylic and paint pen original, done on a standard 8” by 10” canvas panel. Its varnish is shiny, and it’s a bright fanciful abstracted landscape done in shades of gold, rose, pale blue and white. I love doodling on mottled beautiful colors and making a landscape seem otherworldly, like a scene from a fairy tale. I think this one fits that bill: there’s even a little ring of pink that looks like a rainbow around the moon, and it wasn’t intended, but was where I absent mindedly placed a glass jar of mineral spirits on the surface of the painting, and a circular stain showed up which actually looked kindof cool.
