This original acrylic on hardboard panel, “Study: Hope in the Morning,” is a small painting I did late in 2023. I had a great time layering doodles and lines on top of abstract color. It ended up looking like the woods, as my abstracts often do.

The watermark on the painting is text which, of course, does not appear on the painting.
