This pdf format eBook download is my latest work about painting in general, and my abstract painting in particular. It’s the result of the last decade or so of growing as an artist. It’s about painting, changing, reacting, and adapting to all of the changes in my own life and in our society in recent years.

My own artistic journey has led me into a semi-permanent shift into landscape-based abstraction as well as non-objective abstraction. Explore with me the ways that I tackled abstract painting elements like light and dark, atmosphere and depth, texture and pattern, knife painting, new experimental techniques and ideas, layers, symbolism and more. There are eight chapters which start with a page or two of personal reflections and then dive into richly illustrated notes about painting particulars.
