This print is a reproduction of a painting I did a few weeks ago when some dear friends and my husband and I went camping in a beautiful spot near Hayesville, North Carolina. The high pastures and views of fields, ponds, black walnuts and foggy mountain tops were absolutely breathtaking; I think I'll be painting from that weekend for a long time. This was from a particularly damp morning, and if you imagine the lowing of cattle and drip of occasional rain, you'll have a bit more of what it was to be in this beautiful pastoral scene.
